Baseball Registration - 2025
2025 Shoreline Little League Baseball Registration Overview
Welcome to the 2025 Shoreline Little League baseball season! Below is an overview of registration details, new divisions, important dates, and other key information to help prepare for the upcoming season.
Key Updates for 2025
New Division:
Due to increased interest in baseball, we’re introducing the
Coast Division
—a competitive division for players league age 9 and 10. This division offers a more challenging level of play for 10-year-olds who are not placed in AAA, and for 9-year-olds who have completed a season in AA. Coast Division players will need to participate in a skill assessment to help balance teams by skill level.
Assessments:
For 2025, assessments will be held by age and division. Players interested in specific divisions (e.g., Majors) should assess accordingly. Players requesting to play “up” a division may need to attend multiple assessments based on age and division preferences. Assessment dates are
February 1-2
, with makeup sessions on
February 8-9
.
Registration by Division:
Please register players in the division appropriate for their age. If you intend for an 8 or 9-year-old to play in a competitive division, select a drafted division. Players registered in AA or below will not participate in assessments or be considered for Coast, AAA, or Majors divisions.
Rapid Baseball:
Shoreline Little League is trying a new baseball training model for our AA division. Games will now create more opportunities for kids to get more at bats and more defensive reps with more focused training on pitching. Read more about Rapid Baseball
here
.
Practice & Game Scheduling
The season begins with practices scheduled three times per week, which will shift to games as the season progresses (2–3 times per week). Practice and game scheduling will depend on coach and field availability; final schedules will be confirmed after registration closes and teams are formed.
Requests for Coaches and Teammates
We do our best to honor teammate and coach requests for lower divisions (A, AA, and Coast) if made through the link provided in your registration confirmation email. However, to ensure fair play, some requests may not be fulfilled. Requests are not allowed for AAA and higher divisions.
